Training and Placement Cell
The Training and Placement Cell are an integral part of this college. The college has provided adequate infrastructure for effective functioning of the cell. In fact, Training & Placement activities are organized throughout the year with a view to prepare the prospective learners for the campus selection programs. It is heartening to state that reputed industries across the country visit this college for campus recruitment programs. However, cell maintains good rapport with all industries for effective recruitment. The cell also plays a vital role in bringing the students and industrial community together for a mutually satisfying employment relationship. The cell plays a crucial role in counselling and guiding the learners of the college for their successful career placement which is an important interface between the stages of completion of academic program of the students and their entry into the suitable employment.
Responsibilities of Training and placement committee:
- To communicate with various pharmaceutical industries to place the students for training purpose as per university core structure.
- To collect training report and training certificate.
- To arrange workshops, lectures, and seminars regarding career guidance.
- To make consistent rapport with various recruiters for exploring the availability of jobs.
- To invite recruiters for on-campus interview of prospective students.
- To put additional efforts for the off-campus placement of such students who are not selected on-campus.
- To maintain the record of placement of students.
- To collect the feedback from the employers and make additional efforts to bridge the gap between curriculum and industry requirements.
Objectives of Training and Placement Cell:
Having entrusted the above responsibilities, the Training and Placement Cell of our college has set the following objectives:
